Casting and Mold Making (MTL-0135)

Introduction to processes of casting and mold making through presentations, demonstrations, exercises and individual projects. Various approaches will be taught, from creating small sculptural forms and personal ornament by modeling and carving wax, to simple molding techniques for found objects in a variety of materials, to centrifugal and gravity casting.
