Occupational Justice: Diversity Equity Inclusion (OTS-0299)

Concepts of occupational justice include the understanding that peoples' occupations occur within multiple contexts, including social environments. Practitioners work with clients for whom barriers of social injustice, including ableism, impact their ability to perform their wanted and needed occupations. Discussion of and reflection on social issues, intersections of identities & disability, and impact to the occupational therapy evaluation process; intervention choices; and advocacy for persons, systems, and populations.
