The many ways printed ephemera can disseminate ideas and engage the public as an inexpensive and efficient means of reproducing images and text. Focus on independent projects that utilize print media to create installations, posters, publications, performance, video, props, and clothing. Project proposal, research methods of production and materials, weekly studio practice, and meeting with the instructor to discuss ideas and motivations. Individual and group meetings support the conceptual and technical development of projects. Most appropriate for intermediate to advanced students working with print media who can source materials and work across studios as needed.
