AI in Motion: Ethics & Impact in Media Industries (CVS-0013)

Examination of the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital media industries, with a particular focus on cinema and television. Engagement with theoretical and empirical literature and discussion of the history and current ethical debates surrounding AI, including AI’s impact upon contemporary media practices. Hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI tools for text, sound, image, and motion picture generation. Development of skills in critically analyzing and creatively engaging with the future of AI in media.
