Creative Writing: Journalism (ENG-0007)

Introductory practice in various forms of journalistic writing including news, profile, feature, and investigative stories. Hands-on practice in essential writing and reporting techniques. Constructing compelling narratives on complex and pressing current issues. Study of published works, ethical considerations, and current challenges to the field, and workshop of stories-in-progress. Prerequisites: ENG 1 and ENG 2 or completion of the College Writing Requirement.
