Terms of Service

aSIStant is made by students. It is not run, endorsed or supported by Tufts University. Tufts, SIS and other names belong to their owners.

Course information, schedules, menus, floor plans, room sizes and degree requirements come from public sources and from other people, and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Degree tracking is unofficial. Always confirm with SIS, your advisor, Tufts Dining or Residential Life before you rely on something, such as when you register or choose a room.

Accounts are for people with a Tufts email address. Keep your password to yourself, use a password you do not use anywhere else, and never use your Tufts password. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else got into it.

Please do not break the site or try to get around its limits, scrape it in bulk, attack it, or look at other people's accounts. Do not post anything unlawful or abusive, for example in outline names or design names that you share. We can remove content or accounts that break these rules.

What you save (schedules, ratings, plans, room designs) stays yours. You let us store and show it to you, and to anyone you choose to share a link with, so the site can work. Shared links can be opened by anyone who has them.

aSIStant is provided as is, without promises that it will always work or be accurate. To the extent the law allows, the people who make it are not responsible for losses that come from using it, such as a missed registration or a wrong room choice. We may change, pause or stop any part of the site.

We may update these terms. The date above says when. Using the site after a change means you accept it. Questions or problems: reach us on Discord.
