Screenwriting: Shorts (FMS-0020)

Workshop in the craft of writing short films. Emphasis on visual storytelling and developing characters. Development of short film ideas from premise to screenplay. Focus on finding one's voice and discovering possibilities for creative expression afforded by film medium. Weekly script development activities and discussion of student work accompany screenings and analysis of short films from around the world. Prerequisites: FMS 0001
