Intro to Analog Film & Digital Video (MDIA-0106)

Beginner-level studio class introducing students to the conceptual and practical aspects of the moving image. Explores two media, 16mm analog film and digital video, through screenings, readings, discussions, practice, and critique of students' works. Basic production skills such as camera operation, audio digital recording, and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. Projects in moving image, including the opportunity to experiment and develop a body of works in both media. Non-SMFA students and MAT Art Education students will receive a letter grade.
