Place, Time, Dimension (PHT-0153)

Photographic practice of exploring time, movement, place to make meaning of the world around us and our place in it. Students hone their personal vision to explore light, landscape, portraiture, narrative, and aesthetics in conversation with readings, observations and looking at other photographers’ work. Students create a final project focused on a site of their choosing in the Boston region – interior or exterior, urban, suburban, or rural. Work may be created in analog or digital format. Non-SMFA students and MAT Art Education students will receive a letter grade.
