Object a Week (SCP-0106)

Explores objects as form, material, and content. Examines relationships between objects, everyday experience, and understandings of the past. Considers the presence, performance, and cultural significance of objects. Investigates processes and techniques related to the use, mass production, and sourcing of objects. Produce multiple works using assigned objects as source material. No prior sculpture experience necessary. Non-SMFA students and MAT Art Education students will receive a letter grade.
